set off at manic pace and soon clear, mistake 11th and came back to rivals, headed after 4 out, 5th and weakening rapidly when fell 3 out

led, tried to run out on bend after 4th and briefly headed, headed 2 out, soon ridden, kept on same pace

held up towards rear, headway and in touch when blundered 16th (water), soon behind, blundered 20th, tailed off when pulled up before next
